With LabourWyse, clear, practical, and informed labour relations guidance is always within reach.

LabourWyse brings together decades of experience from both union- and employer-side experts. The result is a balanced, principle-based resource designed to help everyone make informed, confident decisions under a collective agreement. This includes managers and HR professionals, and union stewards and executives.

LabourWyse saves both unions and employers a lot of money in unnecessary lawyers’ fees by putting labour relations back in your hands! Every explanation focuses on what matters most: how to interpret, apply, and communicate labour relations principles effectively in real situations. And because LabourWyse is built on arbitration-based reasoning, the guidance stays consistent. There is no “union version” or “employer version” of the principles that guide arbitrators. By using these principles, both sides gain a shared understanding of how workplace issues are viewed in arbitration. This allows union reps and managers to make better, more defensible decisions from the start, which creates better workplaces!

Principle-Based Labour Relations (PBLR) is the cornerstone course that distills decades of arbitration experience into clear, practical lessons. Learn how arbitrators reason through real-world workplace issues so you can apply the same principles to resolve disputes and prevent problems before they escalate.
